PRAISE FOR LA FRANCOPHONIE EN ACTION:

    Dr. Suzanne Hayman

    Associate Professor, French, MacEwan University

La Francophonie en action is a very well-crafted, well-laid-out manual using the action-oriented (task-based) approach. This textbook fills a gap at the intermediate level and helps the reader consider second-language learning in new ways. I like the Canadian focus and the use of authentic documents and websites. There is ample group work and oral tasks to complete, and the themes, vocabulary, and tasks presented are relevant to students’ lives and interests. I applaud the authors’ commitment to using inclusive language throughout.

      Dr. Jeffrey Steele
